Shetland Cloud Felted Wool Reversible Throw
These hand-felted wool throws are extraordinary works of art for the bed or couch, and reversible with one-of-a-kind designs on either side. A mix of Shetland, Merino, and locally sourced California wool throw blanket. Side 1: Shetland Marble fabric. Side 2: Shetland Cloud. All fabric is hand "painted" with wool and felted using undyed, natural wool. Shetland wool is from the Livestock Conservancy's Heritage Breed list. Milled in our design workshop. No two alike.
Wool is nature's finest, 100% sustainable, and renewable fiber.
Artisan milled. Each piece will vary in color. Allow for 2-6-inch variance depending on the throw. Dry clean only, but will do well when washed and dried in wool cycle only. Beautiful on the bed, daybed or sofa.
Dimensions: approximately 70"x 50" - Please allow for 6" variance.
Spot clean or dry clean only. Avoid rubbing, especially for felted wool. Use gentle and mild soap for all methods of cleaning. We recommend Eucalan, Wooly Wash by Mitchell's, or Grandma's Spot Cleaner. To try, never use heat as it will shrink, warp or even felt wool.
