FABRICS
Every yard is "painted" by hand from raw wool using a non-woven process pioneered at JG SWITZER. Similar to variations found in natural stone or wood, no two inches are exactly alike.
SOLIDS
Dyed solid felted wool fabrics, including ten NEW Italian-sourced carded colors hand-felted on EcoWool® "canvas." New for SS25.
SS25
First seen at our Pop-up during Paris Design Week this January, we present the SS25 fabrics: HEARTH, BEADED DRAGON, MERMAID, and SIENNA. Meeting in the in-between world of blue and green, MERMAID gets her sea legs from dark turquoise, sienna, and seaweed on felted wool.
PAINTERLY
Undyed and dyed carded wool is hand-painted and felted into layers similar to brush strokes.
UNDYED SOLIDS
Nature's palette of undyed wool, 100% raw, natural colors from Merino, Shetland, and Bergschaf sheep are felted onto a substrate of white undyed EcoWool®, sourced from within a 100-mile radius of the workshop.
RAW FLEECE
Sourced from over 20 breeds of sheep, goats and alpaca, we celebrate the raw, unprocessed curls and crimps that come from the natural wool and other fine fibers.
SPECIAL EFFECTS
Carding with silk, seaweed, and other exotic materials, we create new effects and complex designs in our wool workshop, much like a wool laboratory.
BLACK & WHITE
Classic and modern felted wool designs in carded Perendale charcoal and undyed Merino creams.
